Summary:
This movie is about the war between the trojans and the
Greeks. It is often a weary spectacle. Warrior achilles
(Brad Pitt) and his Greek comrades set out to conquer
Troy after Trojan prince Paris (Orlando Bloom) escapes
with the beautiful Helen (Diane Kniger) from Greece.
It happens that Helen is already married to a king,
who takes great offense at losing his bride to a Trojan.
An armada of hundred ships sails toward Troy to crush
the great nation as an act of retribution. But with the
abled leadership of Hector(Eric Bana) the Trojan
repulsed the Greeks. The Trojans counter attack
and Hector killed the cousin of achilles(Brad Pitt)
thinking that it was achilles. Achilles got mad and
challenge Hector to a duel which Hector galantly
accepted but Hector lost to Achilles. The Greeks
tricks the Trojans and leave an edifice made after
the image of a horse. The Trojan brought it to
their kingdom without knowing that inside the
horse were the selected warriors of the Greeks.
That cause the downful of the Trojans. King
Priam was killed and so the king of the Greeks
including achilles which was killed by Paris.
Reaction:
This movie is a reminiscence of great movies like
Genghis Khan, Waterloo and Kingdom of heaven.
Where thousand of cast were involve. The only
difference is that troy were more of computer
generated additional scence. Anyway, the movie
is good.
